As a tennis instructor at Lochearn, you’ll coach campers in groundstrokes, serves, and match play while also serving as a cabin counselor — building deep relationships in both the court and the cabin.
Tennis instructors at Camp Lochearn teach groundstrokes, volleys, serves, and match strategy while running drills, clinics, and intra-camp tournaments. You’ll plan progression-based programs, manage equipment, and coach across skill levels. As a cabin counselor, you’ll also live with campers, support daily routines, and mentor through every part of the camp day across multi-week sessions throughout the summer.
The position is typically a full-summer commitment with on-site housing, meals, and laundry included. Lochearn looks for tennis instructors with college tennis experience, USPTA or PTR certification, or strong club teaching backgrounds. CPR/First Aid is standard. Comfort working with girls and young women, plus the patience to flex across coaching and cabin life, matter most for this dual role.
