Welcome to Camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge. We are thrilled that you are considering joining our camp family and we’re eager to share with you the philosophy and values that have made our sleep away camps a home away from home for thousands of former campers, staff and alumni.
Ask anyone who has ever been a staff member here about his or her first summer and they will tell you that our summer camp is a very special kind of community that re-forms every season beginning with the very first day of staff orientation.
The spirit is infectious. You’ll feel it from day one.
Then when the campers arrive, the fun–and the serious, hard work–begins. After all, even out here in the sun and the fresh air and amid all the fabulous facilities and equipment, one fact is never forgotten: We–that means every staff member–are caring for parents’ most precious possessions, their children.
You also won’t be out there all by yourself; we’re here to help you! You’ll be trained by experts, guided by experienced summer camp professionals, and will always have somewhere to turn. As a result, you’ll learn a whole lot about yourself and build skills in teamwork, motivation and interpersonal relationships that will serve you well throughout your career–no matter what that might be–and throughout your life.

Welcome to Camps Equinunk and Blue Ridge. Since 1920, our traditional summer camps have been at the forefront of resident camping and have become a summer home to generations of campers, staff, and alumni. We are passionate about the camp experience and value the history and traditions that continue to shape us. The years spent growing up at Equinunk and Blue Ridge will have a profound impact on who boys and girls become as a person through the strengthening of their character and creation of deeply connected friendships. We strive for campers to become more empathetic of others and more compassionate for themselves. We believe that by helping children become more self-aware, they will lead lives driven by integrity, kindness and possibility, which in turn, will foster meaningful relationships, greater resilience and a strong sense of self and purpose.
