Camp Wah-Nee is hiring for summer 2026!
If you’re looking to work at Camp Wah-Nee, you’ll find an exciting and rewarding summer camp job in the Berkshire Mountains of Connecticut, just over two hours from both New York City and Boston. Staff spend the summer in a peaceful lakeside setting surrounded by nature, tradition, and a welcoming camp community.
We’re looking for responsible, energetic individuals with strong character and a genuine passion for working with children. Camp counselors play an active role in helping campers grow socially, emotionally, and physically throughout the summer experience.

No previous summer camp experience is required for many positions. Camp Wah-Nee provides comprehensive staff training before campers arrive, helping counselors and staff feel confident, prepared, and supported throughout the summer.
Working at Camp Wah-Nee helps staff develop leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Staff also receive housing, meals, laundry service, days off, and the opportunity to build lifelong friendships with people from around the world.
Applicants must have completed at least one year of college or be of equivalent age. Staff are also required to attend pre-camp orientation and complete background and reference checks before the summer begins.
