Lake Bryn Mawr Camp is hiring for summer 2024!
Camp Bryn Mawr is one of the most prominent and well-respected all-girls summer camps in the America. We provide high-quality instruction that encourages girls to take part in the activities they enjoy while also giving them the chance to discover new things and grow as girls and young women.
More than just a place, LBMC was established over a century ago as an exclusive summer camp for girls. A camper can participate in new activities with her “summer sisters” who will support her in learning from her mistakes and celebrating her successes, and where the emphasis is on her character rather than her appearance or her accomplishments.
Why Work at Bryn Mawr?
Everyone can have fun at camp, campers and counselors alike! Our staff value the relationships they form, the opportunities they have to learn and experience new things, and the chance to take part in more than a century of Bryn Mawr tradition. There are numerous ways for staff to participate in the spirit and sense of community at camp, including living in a cabin, swimming in the lake, performing on stage, participating in staff sports, and singing around the campfire.
At Bryn Mawr, the best leaders are perpetual learners. You will get the chance to receive training from some of the brightest minds in youth development as a member of our staff. Additionally, you will have the assistance of seasoned mentors who want to see you succeed and make the most of your time at camp this summer.
Employers in all industries are seeking candidates with “soft skills” like communication, collaboration and teamwork, adaptability, empathy, and leadership that aren’t typically covered in college courses.
You may develop these skills by working at camp, which will make you stand out from the competition and succeed in any field you choose.
Working at camp means living in a community! We’ll take care of your lodging, meals, and transportation while you’re at camp (and necessities like laundry and linens).
We value our staff and show our appreciation to staff in many different ways:
- competitive salary
- referral bonuses, raffles, special activities
- assistance with job-specific requirements such as Pennsylvania nursing licensure and lifeguard certification
- supporting internship requirements or writing letters of recommendation
