Camps Equinunk & Blue Ridge are seeking a creative and motivated Videographer to join our summer media team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys filming, storytelling, and working with video in a fast-paced, outdoor camp environment.
The Media Team Videographer plays a key role in capturing camp life through video, helping tell the story of the summer for campers, families, and the camp community.
Role Overview
As a Media Team Videographer, you will film daily activities, special events, and candid moments throughout camp. You’ll work closely with the media and leadership teams to produce engaging video content that reflects the energy, spirit, and community of camp life. In addition to videography responsibilities, you will be an active and professional presence within the camp environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Film daily camp activities, programs, and special events
- Capture action footage, candid moments, and group scenes
- Assist with basic video editing and content organization
- Collaborate with the media team to meet content goals and deadlines
- Manage video equipment and digital files responsibly
- Follow camp guidelines related to privacy, permissions, and content use
- Maintain a professional and positive presence around campers
Age Requirement
- Must be 18 years or older by the start of camp
Required Experience
- Videography experience with a strong understanding of framing and storytelling
- Comfort filming in outdoor and action-oriented environments
- Experience working with children or in a camp, school, or event setting preferred
Required Skills
- Proficiency with video cameras and basic editing software
- Strong visual storytelling and composition skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Clear communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability in changing outdoor and lighting conditions
