Camp Wah-Nee is looking for caring, dependable Nurses and Nursing Assistants to join our Health Center team for the summer. This role is a great fit for Registered Nurses, nursing students, and EMTs who enjoy working with children and want hands-on experience in a residential camp setting.
Applicants must be available for the entire summer season. Nursing Assistants must be at least 20 years old.
Responsibilities
- Help provide day-to-day care for campers and staff
- Assist with first aid, illness and injury assessment, and follow-up care
- Support medication administration and Health Center routines as appropriate to your role
- Keep health records and treatment areas organized
- Communicate clearly with campers, counselors, and the nursing team
- Help monitor campers who are sick, injured, or need additional care
- Respond calmly and appropriately when health needs arise
- Support a clean, welcoming, and well-organized Health Center
What we’re looking for

- Available for the full camp season
For Nursing Assistant positions, applicants must be 20 years of age or older.
