Camps Equinunk & Blue Ridge are seeking an organized and dependable Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations for the summer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring clean, safe, and well-maintained living spaces in a camp environment.
The Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor plays a key role in supporting camper comfort, health, and overall camp operations.
Role Overview
As the Housekeeping & Laundry Supervisor, you will manage daily cleaning schedules, oversee laundry operations, and supervise housekeeping staff. You’ll help ensure cabins, common areas, and facilities remain clean, organized, and well-maintained while maintaining efficient workflows and high standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise daily housekeeping and laundry operations
- Create and manage cleaning and laundry schedules
- Ensure cabins, bathrooms, and common areas are clean and sanitary
- Oversee laundering of linens, towels, and camp supplies
- Supervise and support housekeeping and laundry staff
- Monitor inventory of cleaning and laundry supplies
- Ensure proper use of equipment and safe handling of materials
- Communicate with camp leadership regarding facility needs
- Maintain a positive, organized, and efficient work environment
Required Experience
- Experience in housekeeping, facilities, or operations management preferred
- Experience supervising staff or managing daily operations
