About International Sports Training Camp

When we ask our campers and staff to describe ISTC for us, time and again we hear “you just have to experience it to understand it”. We think that ISTC is as much an irrepressibly happy feeling as it is a physical place, and everyone that enters through our gates gets to experience the magic.

On the surface, we are a breathtakingly beautiful 500-acre facility in the heart of the Pocono Mountains with modern camper cabins, pristine sports fields, and an incredibly picturesque 100-acre private lake for over 325 campers each week to enjoy. Underneath, we are a family, a network of positive likeminded people from all over the world who share a love for sports and kids. And on the day-to-day level, we are a place where campers never stop smiling from the moment they wake up until the moment their heads hit their pillows!

We combine sports with life lessons and wrap it up in a one-week (or multiple week!) camp experience that stays with campers long after they leave.

Camp Highlights

  • completely private 100-acre lake
  • beautiful sports fields and indoor playing courts

International Campers

ISTC takes every step to make sure that all of our campers feel at home during their stay with us. For our international campers, we take the extra step by personally meeting your child at the airport, making sure they are settled once they arrive, and spending extra time with them throughout the week to ensure that they are comfortable and having the best experience possible.

We offer one-week sessions, but always recommend a two week stay to our international campers, so they have enough time to immerse into the American culture and fully enjoy their ISTC experience! Each camper follows the same daily summer camp schedule, whether they are international campers or U.S. campers. They stay in the same cabins and participate in the same activities together to facilitate a sense of togetherness and unity. International campers really soak up the U.S. experience by building genuine and lasting friendships with the American campers. Additionally, our staff members come from all parts of the world and the international culture is embraced in our athletics and in our mindset!

We have an office staff member who specializes in helping you through the registration process and travel arrangements. Plus, once your camper arrives, we have a staff member designated to communicate with you about your camper. We want you to feel confident that your child is in good hands.
