Cardigan Mountain School

We provide the perfect balance between academic enrichment, personal development, and summertime fun for boys and girls ages 8-15. The mornings look like a traditional, five-period class day; the afternoons, evenings, and weekends resemble traditional summer camp on our lakeside campus; and we have an intentional character curriculum in our residential life program that focuses on developing our kids as both individuals and members of a group.
In many ways we resemble the boarding school life, and can be great preparation for families that are considering that path.

We are not a program specifically for learning differences. However, we do off a low-stress environment with a holistic approach to education. Our small class sizes and enrichment focus provide a mainstream environment that can build confidence and self advocacy in the classroom. Furthermore, our Essential Academic Skills department focuses specifically on improving skills that will benefit efforts across all subjects. We have seen great success with children who learn differently, and struggle in a traditional classroom setting.
