- Waterfront Director 11-21-2025 DETAILSThe Waterfront Director is a senior member of the Camp Mah-Kee-Nac leadership team responsible for overseeing all operations, staffing, and programming across the lakefront and aquatic activity areas. This role ensures that every camper and staff member enjoys a safe, structured, and exciting experience on the water. The Waterfront Director serves as the direct line manager for approximately 25 lifeguards and waterfront counselors, including those working in boating, waterski/wakeboard, canoeing, kayaking, sailing, and swimming. The position requires strong leadership, organizational skill, and a commitment to both safety and camper development. This individual will lead orientation training, conduct in-service refreshers, and provide continuous feedback and end-of-summer appraisals for all waterfront staff.
