About Brant Lake Camp

Brant Lake Camp, founded in 1916, is one of the oldest single-family owned camps in the country. At Brant Lake Camp, we have a thoughtful approach to caring for kids. We acknowledge that a boy’s needs change as he grows. This allows us to know each child’s personality, and recognize their strengths and needs. Brant Lake is home to boys who enjoy a summer stepped in sports, tradition and fun.

At Brant Lake "Key Staff" is our name for the problem solvers. We are extremely proud of the quality, quantity, and longevity of our Key Staff members.

Our Mini-Camp approach creates a small camp feel within a larger camp community, while also ensuring all programming and equipment is age-appropriate. Each Mini-Camp is designated by grade and has its own set of facilities and equipment.

Sports Done Right. Our approach towards competition starts with the core belief that sports can teach great values. We also recognize the potential of doing harm to a boy’s development if not done thoughtfully. Therefore, at Brant Lake, we apply the best lessons of sports and competition and reward sportsmanship, character and leadership.

We are located on a pristine six-mile, crystal clear lake with our own private waterfront and beaches. Our campus and facilities are among the finest anywhere, and the perfect place for a boy to enjoy the best summers of his life.

International Campers

For over a century, Brant Lake Camp for Boys has had been a home away from home for hundreds International campers. To that end we liaise with each family to assist them in everything from filling out camp forms to making special transportation arrangements specific to the needs of the International camper. Additionally, due to the distance and time differences, we make special arrangements for camper to parent telephone calls. At Brant Lake, we do whatever it takes to make a successful and smooth transition for ALL of our campers!
