About

The Berkshire Soccer Academy for Girls is the best place to infuse balance and fun into a world-class soccer camp experience. Girls 10-16 are eligible to attend any of our 6 one-week sessions throughout the summer.

Girls at the Academy receive elite training at top-quality facilities from our qualified and experienced coaching staff. As one of the few specialty soccer camps set in a traditional camp environment, we focus on player improvement while deliberately infusing fun and friendships into the learning process.

Developing our girls into “whole players” who are technically sound, tactically savvy, and mentally ready while providing a nurturing environment where fun and balance can thrive, is what we do best. Our athletes train hard on the field, and then enjoy relaxing elective activities, like canoeing or yoga, to decompress and enjoy down-time with friends–new and old.

Athletes live in clean, newly-renovated cabins they share with Cabin Counselors who are selected and trained to provide supervision and promote friendships among cabin-mates.

An attention to health and wellness is deliberately carried throughout the Academy experience. Athletes enjoy tasty and nutritious meals in our lakeside dining hall. We also teach our campers about injury prevention, dynamic stretching, and proper hydration.

How We Accommodate International Campers

All year, we look forward to the arrival of our international athletes and think about how to make them feel welcome and comfortable. Upon arriving at camp, girls receive a tour, play fun ice-breaker games, meet all the staff and their cabin-mates, and get situated in their cabins.

We want to help make your camper feel at home. When possible, we will place your daughter in a cabin with a counselor or camper who can speak in your child's native language or hails from a nearby country. Our international staff and campers come from all over the world including Colombia, England, Mexico, China, Taiwan, Ireland, Canada, Brazil, Bahrain and Scotland.

We provide ground transportation for campers flying into Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Windsor Locks, CT. A staff member will accompany your camper to and from the Academy.

Parents can compose and send unlimited e-mail messages to their camper free of charge. E-mails are printed and delivered to athletes at lunchtime each day during “Mail Call”. Campers can reply with a handwritten note, which will be scanned and emailed to parents daily. Campers have the option to make one phone-call home during each session, as well as during the weekend Bridge Programs.

Enrolled campers have access to our "Athlete Handbook", as well as our "Away From Home Guide" to help them prepare for the Academy.
