Camp Weequahic, a co-ed residential summer camp in Northeast Pennsylvania, is looking for enthusiastic, fun loving and qualified individuals that can help create a fantastic summer experience for our campers. This position is for people that are hard-working, dedicated, and love to work with children. Counselors serve in a dual role both living with children and teaching in one or more activity areas. We have over 60 program areas and there is something for everyone here at Camp Weequahic.
Although this is not your typical 9-5 summer job, it is an awesome opportunity to challenge yourself and grow in unexpected ways, all while making a difference in the life of a child and have a ton of fun doing it! If you think you could make a difference as a positive role model, teach something you love, and be prepared to meet hundreds of new friends from around the world we would love for you to apply. We also need ‘out-of-bunk staff’ who do not live with children, but interact daily in our camp community and work in administration and operations.
