About Chipinaw & Silver Lake
Camp Chipinaw and Silver Lake Camp are neighboring camps located deep in the heart of New York’s beautiful Catskill Mountains. We give our campers the opportunity to stay for the full summer on our Chipinaw campus, or to choose a 4 week or 3 week experience at our Silver Lake campus.
Our camps are situated on over 300 acres, including a magnificent 96-acre lake. Your experience at Chipinaw & Silver Lake will be a perfect blend of rich history and traditions along with all the latest and greatest facilities and activities. With over sixty different activities offered at Chipinaw, every camper can find their niche. Our campers get to enjoy six activities a day, six days a week. Our program consists of two water activities, two sport activities and two electives. As the campers get older we’ve added in more sports and electives to accommodate their interests. Campers get to choose their activities the day before for the following day, with guidance from their group leader.
Throughout the summer you'll experience awesome evening activities, sports leagues and intercamps, olympics, carnival, beach days, Color War, and so much more. At Chipinaw & Silver Lake you will build friendships, make memories, and have a summer experience like no other!

International Campers
Chipinaw and Silver Lake have been a home away from home for hundreds of International campers for almost a century. To that end, we work with each family to help them with everything from filling out camp applications to making special transportation arrangements for the International camper's requirements. We also make specific arrangements for camper-to-parent phone conversations owing to distance and time issues. At Chipinaw and Silver Lake, we go above and beyond to ensure that ALL of our campers have a successful and comfortable transition!
